Where Did This Month Go?!

They say time flies when you are having fun… as much as I agree, this month flew by unbelievably fast!

If you have been following me on Instagram or Facebook, you already know that it’s been pretty crazy with many shows, shoots and some interesting life moments! Here are the highlights:

The Congress of Black Women Mother’s Day Brunch

Mother’s day was made even more special with all the beautiful woman that came to the brunch to celebrate themselves and the young women receiving scholarships! Thank you Pat Challenger for inviting me to perform.

One Year Mark for #PeaceForSouthSudan

A whole year has come and gone since the protest at Yonge & Dundas Square. Read the full article here: The Story Behind #peaceforsouthsudan

Recording & Working With 5 Rivers Ent

Satnam from 5 Rivers Entertainment has been very busy preparing music for the up coming album and I got to drop in for a listen… I can’t wait to you all hear it!

A Quick Stop To Saskatchewan

Sometimes, a short little trip away from the noisy big cities can really reset your perspective on life. Also, the skies in Saskatchewan are heavenly.

People For Education Benefit

It was fairly last minute, but it was such a great highlight for the month. Alex St Kitts, Jacob Aylward and Rafi Levy joined me on stage for a live version “The Hills” & “You & Me” and they slayed it! Thank you so much to Annie Kidder, Paul Mark and everyone who helped put the event together.

The African Pavilion at Hershey Centre was alive with passion at Carassauga! Gotta give a big thank you to the organisers for putting on such a great weekend and to Paul De Burger for the great photos!

One thing I always say (and will never get tired of saying) is that I am here because of all your support. Without all of you following, sharing, coming to shows, buying/streaming my music – I would not be here! You are all amazing and I feel so blessed to have you all in my life. Stay amazing!

Love you all! ❤
